WHAT IS HAPPENING?
The 8th grade band and orchestra will play the National Anthem at the Bulls game on Tuesday, June 10!
WHEN AND WHERE?
We will meet at 5:30 outside the stadium entrance at the intersection of Blackwell Street and Jackie Robinson Drive.
Meet outside, do not go into the stadium.
The closest parking deck is at
653 Jackie Robinson Dr.
WHAT DO WE DO, AFTER WE ARRIVE?
Wait outside the stadium entrance. Do not go in. We will get together, make sure everyone is there, and then walk in together.
We will walk up the stairs and meet the Bulls staff at the customer service desk. They will tell us what to do.
WHAT SHOULD STUDENTS WEAR?
Students should wear their black "Carroll Arts" shirt. If a student does not have one of these shirts, they may borrow one from Mr. Dickson.
CAN PARENTS JUST DROP THEIR CHILD OFF AT THE STADIUM AND LEAVE?
No. This is not a field trip. Neither Mr. Dickson nor any Wake County Schools employee will be responsible for any student participating in this event. At least one adult must accompany and be responsible for each child who participates.
WHAT ABOUT OUR INSTRUMENT CASES?
Bring your instrument case into the stadium. Security will probably ask to search it, because they are required to search everything.
DO WE GET INTO THE GAME FOR FREE?
No. Nobody gets into the stadium for free. Students, families, Mr. Dickson, and everybody else need to purchase a ticket.
HOW DO WE PURCHASE OUR TICKETS?
If you purchase your tickets through this link, then we can all sit together.
WHAT HAPPENS AFTER WE PLAY THE NATIONAL ANTHEM?
We will relax and enjoy watching a baseball game together. You may leave whenever you want to.
